Principal’s Desk

On behalf of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, my staff and myself I welcome you in this institute established in 1984. The Rayat Shikshan Sanstha has started this college in 1884 to reach the inaccessible and downtrodden society. It is visionary of great founder of our institute Padmabhushan Dr. Karmveer Bhaurao Patil, which give us impetus to work for the tribal society around. Ours is the only grantable college in this area which provide quality education to the students. The college comes under University of Mumbai, Mumbai and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission with 2(f) and 12(b). The College is rendering education to the rural and tribal youth to prepare a complete individual who will meet the future global challenges. The college has served tribal society for above 35 years, delivering best of its knowledge and quality education. The institute has been accredited by NAAC in the academic year 2013-2014. The college has obtained B grade with CGPA 2.21. The institute offers education in 8 degree courses and 1 post-graduation course of conventional streams of Arts, Commerce and Science. Apart from this we provide skill based courses including short term course sanctioned by NSQF and other departmental short term courses. The college provides good sports facilities to the students. Further the college has a working NSS unit. To nurture the reading habits of the students the college has a good library with thousands of books. The college run career guidance cell, placement cell and competitive exam cell for the students.

In these several years, college has served the society in many ways and have produced eminent alumni. The college has produced several teachers, advocates, journalists, politicians, police officers and entrepreneurs.

The College is functioning so very well towards the mission of educating tribal, downtrodden and economically weaker sections of the society.
